Long live the Kingers in 17-4 win
The same story different game. The Kings continue to dominate the league. The leafs were a mere speed bump as the Storm Kings burned them for 17 goals. The question is what Storm King will win the scoring title. The most likely candidate is Sean Coakley who had another record shattering 8 point night with 5 goals and 3 assists. Dean Cashman and Tom Scull both had 5 point nights with 2 goals and 2 helpers each. 17 goals scored is a UVHL record. 11 penalties aslo a record. This game underscores the need for a mercy rule. When teams get blown out the play degrades an infractions become more common. It is rare that I will interject opinion to my write ups but we need to instate a mercy rule. No player should have to endure agony of being outscored by 13. The Storm Kings may roll until they reach the power offense of the Tuck team. Tuck has the second most goals for at 33 and seem to be a likely contender to end the Kings unbeaten streak. The Storm Kings face off against Tuck on November 15 for the late game.
