The Gamblers have taken both games against the Whalers this season by a score of 5-2, so...the odds are set at just that, Gamblers win it 5-2. The Gamblers are without two of the their top 3 in the MAM line. Matty "The Milkman" Marrazzo is out with a sore back and Willy "Weeble" Meyer is on Long Term Injured Reserve with Post Concussion Syndrome. Without those two the Gamblers aren't quite the same team, but let's stop there, they still have a pretty lethal offensive punch with The "Thing" brothers, Topo "Thing 1" LaCroix and Goose "Thing 2" LaCroix, Marc "The Narc" Gattie and Dan "The Danimal" Ammel. The Whalers have their own offensive stars with Scotty "Sugar" Shaw, Woody Redpath & Jimmy "Kranky" Kerrigan putting up some respectable points. Last week the Whalers shocked the Nordiques 7-4 behind some stellar goaltending from Kenny "Old As Dirt" Lallier and some timely offensive outbursts. The Gamblers seemed to be confused by the Dead Riverians and were only able to score 4 goals against them in a 4-2 win. If the Whalers have the right players this will be a hell of a game. If their goaltender doesn't show up, this could be REALLY ugly.
