Does anyone care if I do these anymore? We barely get any feedback, game comments, or trash talk...it feels like I am wasting my time. If I'm not, then send us some shit for fuck's sake!!! Prepare to get Pattisoned! Officially, that is: to retaliate against someone else for what their teammate did. Pattison does it regularly, and now so does JT! (just ask Scott Shaw!) But, JT is away and the Nords welcome the Brewers' Matt Crowson in net for them tonight. Who will win? Well, DR has momentum and beat a good Brewers team last week. The Nords can't score, but play well defensively, so this is a tough one to call... Flip a coin because if the Oilers show up it will be a tough game, but if they don't have their best players there the Nords will capitalize.

First off, kudos to Evan Duggan who scored a beauty 1-on-4 individual effort and roasted me in the process making me look like a fat buffalo and bleu cheese stained pylon along with 3 three other Nords who got beat. Nice goal! Okay, so the Oilers had 9 skaters and for once the Nords didn't take it lightly and played their game. Matt Crowson was solid in the Nords net and kept them in it while the Dead River boys were pushing for a comeback. Hadley was solid, great glove as always, and there were a few rebound goals that he had no chance on. Hads stoned Marshy point blank and turned away a couple of other big blasts from the Big Canadian as well. The Nords were helped by the return of Drew Crapser, aka the Spin Doctor, on defense. Drew was solid, moved the puck well and got off a few good shapshots to boot. Rick Golden was tough to defend all night, and Dean Cashman was hunting loose pucks down with fervor. Pattison was wasted on D, but he did join the rush a few times and was dangerous when he did so, and he made good passes breaking out of the defensive and and in the neutral zone. Park had several excellent defensive plays going down to block pucks from squirting through and making a quick play to stop the offensive DR rush. Plus, CJ and Gooch did a solid job reffing as well. Nice job, guys!

It will be your lot to watch the Nords defense get spun around and have to chase the opposing team into their own end after the opposition has appropriated the scoring zone and taken 2-3 shots.
