| ODDS: | Maple Leafs by 1 goal |

The Bruins(4-11-0) host the Maple Leafs(3-11-1) in the finale of week 16. These are two teams that tend to be confused as to who they are on a weekly basis. The Bruins are coming off of a HUGE upset over the Nordiques, when they embarrassed them 8-5 with a short bench. The Maple Leafs are riding a 3 game losing streak, which followed a 7-2 thrashing of a dominant Tuck team 4 weeks ago.
The Leafs need to find some consistent scoring and continue to play their team game. The word from around the league is that they HATE to play against the Leafs because they don't quit, they buzz around you all night long like a bunch of little blue mosquitos. Their legs seem to have strengthened, carrying their strong defensive play into the 3rd period, but they haven't been able to provide any scoring to help out their stud netminder, Kenny "Le Brick-Wall" Lallier. Lallier has been playing the best hockey of his life this season, essentially giving his team a chance on a weekly basis.
The Bruins, anchored by shifty veteran Matty Marrazzo & emerging star Jordan McGee, should make this an interesting game. That is if they don't show up with 15 guys. The Bruins are one of those teams that plays better hockey with the fewer players that they have. Hadley has been decent in net, but needs to step up his play if he wants his team to be a contender.
MY PREDICTION: Maple Leafs 4, Bruins 3
The McGee Powered Bruins win again, 4-2 over Maple Leafs.

The Bruins, without a reliable netminder, had to grab Brewers stud Peter "The Great" Bartline for a 2nd round on the night, much to the delight of the Bruins who have been playing behind suspect netminders all season. On the other side of the puck, the Leafs Johnny "Turpentine" Thomas was not happy about the Bruin's acquisition of Bartline. I quickly pointed out that Bartline let up 10 goals to the Storm Kings in the previous game, but Thomas' reply was ASTONISHING....."But that was to a good team!" Scotty "Defense?" Fraser put the Bruins up 1-0 just 15 seconds in off of a Donny "Power Trip" Powers Tip that rebounded right onto Fraser's stick. Someone from the Bruins bench yelled to the defenseman after the goal, "Hey scotty, I thought you said you weren't going to float?" The two teams battled the remainder of the first period without any results to report. No penalties, no additional goals and a combined 21 saves for the two crease keepers. I would like to report that
Jordan McGee put the Bruins up 2-0 with his 16th of the season when he jammed home a rebound off of another Donny Powers shot. McGee was all over the Maple Leafs early in this one and always seemed to be making the right play, pass & move. McGee got his 2nd of the night when he took a defenseman wide, cut across the top of the crease and beat Lallier with a quick backhander high blocker at 9:43. Jordan owned Lallier, and notched the natural hat trick just over 2 minutes later when he intercepted a pass in the high slot, beat a defender outside and rifled a wrister past the glove from his knees to put the Bruins up 4-1. It wasn't just Lallier, it was also the Leafs defensemen who consistently fell for the shake and bake that McGee was throwing at them all night.
The leafs did finally get on the board with 7:02 remaining in the first when Dougie "The Hammer" Heavisides jammed in a rebound through some congestion in front of Bartline.
