The season series is split at a game apiece between the high powered Gamblers and Cardigan squads. The Gamblers(8-4-1) easily beat Cardigan 6-3 in their first game only to see Cardigan shock the world with a 6-5 win last month. The Gamblers(8-4-0-1) will be without sparkplug captain Willy "Weeble" Meyer tonight, and his absence left them looking a bit lost last week in a 4-0 loss to Tuck. Granted that the Gamblers ran into a hot goaltender, they are still a better team than they showed and should never be shut out in a Men's League game. Cardigan sits in third place this season with an 7-4-1-1 record and second with 76 goals scored. They are powered by the offensive juggernaut Owen Carpino and his 31 goals in 11 games. The Gamblers have 5 players in the top 12 in scoring while Cardigan only has 1 in the top 12 but 5 in the top 18. This should be a great game. Vegas has the Gamblers winning 5-4.
