Gamblers Look To Rout Tuck
| ODDS: | Gamblers By 10 Goals |
| OVER/UNDER: | 13 Goals |
The Gamblers walk in with a perfect 12-0-0 record and have owned the Tuckies by a score of 23-6 so far this season in two dominant wins. Tuck just played the Nordiques to a solid 4-3 loss, but the Nordiques were blown out by the Gamblers 11-3 the week before. This isn't looking too good for Tuck.
Same old song and dance, Gamblers have #1,#2,#3 & #4 point scorers in the UVie this season, and their second line winger Martin Tomanik is second in the UVie with 4.00 PPG through 4 games.
Tuck has Brandon Harrington and Josh Cherney leading them offensively, but they'll need quite a bit more firepower to keep up with the G-Men.
This will be another blowout unless the Tuckies sit back and play defensive hockey.

Tuck Holds Gamblers to 6 Goals, Lose 6-1
\"They played really well,\" said Gambler\'s player/captain/GM/coach/massage specialist Willy \"Mighty Mouse\" Meyer, \"we had trouble generating offense against them.\"
A feeling of frustration coursed through the veins of the Gamblers as they played against one of their toughest opponents yet this season...the second to last place Tuckerdoodles. Tuck rode a short bench, only two lines and three defensemen. This was a moral victory for their team after being destroyed 10-2 and 13-4 in their first two games this season against the power-house Gamblers.
Leading the way for the Gamblers was forward-turned-defenseman-turned-back-to-forward Marc \"The Narc\" Gattie with a pair of goals and assist. Gattie set the tone with both goals in the first period including the eventual game winner.
The Tuckies kept the top three league-leading point scorers at bay with only 3 goals and six points between them. That sounds like a productive night for a line, but the MMA line has been known to put up 7 points apiece per game and are averaging 3.91 points per game between the trio.
Tuck\'s Benny \"The Tower\" Dower was crucial as the list line of defense. \"Their goaltender made some HUGE saves\" recalled Meyer. Despite letting up 6 goals and taking the loss, Dower was the third star of the game as he turned away 44 of 50 shots.
Matty \"The Milkman\" Marrazzo opened the scoring at 10:50 in the first period, followed by the pair from \"The Narc\" and the Gamblers took a 3-0 lead into the second period.
END OF THE FIRST: Gamblers 3, Tuck 0
Tuck\'s Brandon \"Harry Puck\" Harrington cut the deficit to two goals early in the second. Tuck battled hard for the remainder of the period but Meyer cashed in a Marrazzo pass with just 55 seconds in the frame.
END OF THE SECOUND: Gamblers 4, Tuck 1
Meyer tallied his second of the night and league leading 32nd of the season on the powerplay, again from Marrazzo, but Tuck made him work from it as he cleaned up his own rebound on his fourth attempt. Topo \"The Croisant\" LaCroix closed out the scoring on the night with 2:44 to play with his 19th of the season.
END OF REGULATION: Gamblers 6, Tuck 1
This was an utterly frustrating game for the Gamblers orchestrated by a solid defensive system by Tuck and some stellar goaltending from Dower.
