Gamblers Own Lallier's Whalers!

In the late game we have the Whalers hosting the Gamblers. The Gamblers have won all 3 games this year by the score of 19-4 but will this be the week the Whale gets their first win?!?!  Probably not as long as the Gamblers show up and play hockey they should be able to win this game by the score of 5-2.

In the second game of the night we had the Whalers hosting the Gamblers. Unlike the first game both teams barley had enough guys for two lines (Whalers borrowed a few of the Jacks) but they both showed up ready to play. The Whalers wasted no time getting on the board thanks to the help of Jordan McGee being set up by Mike Avery at 13:39 to give the Whalers a 1-0 lead. The Gamblers would answer right back (19 seconds to be exact), on a goal from Goose LaCroix tied the game up (1-1) at 13:20. The Gamblers Max Woods would give the Gamblers the lead on a breakaway goal at 10:01 (2-1). The Gamblers would get two more goals in the period, the first came from Luke Webster at 9:00 minute mark and Max Wood's would get his second of the night and period at 4:22 to give the Gamblers a 4-1 lead heading into the second. Although the score was 4-1 Gamblers the Whalers would get some chances but it was the Gamblers Max Wood's who would notch his 3rd goal of the night at 13:23 to give the Gamblers a 5-1 lead. The Gamblers would then get a PP chance, on the PP Will Meyer was set up back door and did his best impression of David Pastrnak getting the puck past Kenny Lallier to put the G-men up 6-1. The score would remain the same until 9 seconds left in the period when Dillan Pierce would score on the PP before the period end making the score 6-2 heading into the third. The third started out with the Gamblers getting a PP chance and Ryan Bergeron would make them pay as he would skate end to end and then roof one right over Kenny Lallier's glove to give the Gamblers a 7-2 lead. With the Gamblers well in control of this game the Whalers Dan Fenton would get one past Ryan Van Schoick to make the score 7-3 with 7:48 remaining. The Gamblers would add two late goals (Matt Marrazzo at 6:20 and Poli Nightingale at 4:27) as they would cruise on to a 9-3 win which would guarantee them at least 2nd or 3rd place depending on how they finish the season out next week vs. Tuck.
