In the first game of the night we have Tuck hosting the Whalers. Both teams are coming into tonight off a losses, Tuck is coming in off a hard fought game with with the Blues and the Whalers are fresh off a 8-5 loss to the Jacks. If Tuck can show up with a decent roster they should take this one 4-2.

In the first game of the night we have Tuck hosting the Whalers. Both team"s are coming into tonight off losses, Tuck is coming in off a hard fought game with the Blues and the Whalers are fresh off an 8-5 loss to the Jacks. The game started out with back and forth action as the Whalers had a full bench and Tuck only had 7 skaters. The Whalers took the game"s first penalty half way through the period but Tuck couldn"t capitalize. Tuck gained some momentum off the power play chance and got on the scoreboard first from an Alex Kremer goal with 4:32 left in the period. The period would end with Tuck up 1-0 but the play was very even. In the second period the Whalers wasted no time tying the game up as Patrick Riley scored 13 seconds into the period. The score would remain tied at one until 3:54 mark in the period when Alex Kremer scored his second of the night to put Tuck up 2-1. The period would end with Tuck up 2-1 but once again the play was very even. In the third both teams came out hungry but the Whalers were too aggressive and took a penalty with 12:15 left in the period. On the power play Tuck"s Michael Boches put Tuck up 3-1 at the 11:36 mark in the period. Tuck would keep the pressure on and Alex Kremer would complete the hat trick at 7:59 as he put Tuck up 4-1. The Whalers never gave up as Matt Gauthier would make the score 4-2 with 1:45 remaining in the game. Tuck"s Eli Karp would seal the win for Tuck as he scored with 40 seconds left to make the final score 5-2.
