In the first game of the night we have Ramuntos hosting the Lumberjacks. Ramuntos comes into this week after a 5-1 loss to Tuck. The Jacks come into this week after a hard fought loss to the Gamblers. Both teams are looking to get back on track after last week. The game will be close but the Jacks will hold on to win the game 4-2.

In tonight"s first game we have Ramunto\'s hosting the Lumberjacks, both teams are coming into this week off loses. The season series is owned by the Jacks as they won the two previous meeting this year, by a combined score of 12-7. Tonight would be no different as the Jacks took it to Ramunto"s right out of the gate. Ramunto"s had a penalty called in the first minute of play which put the Jacks on a PP, while on the PP the Jacks Jordan McGee was able to put his team up 1-0. After the goal both teams continued to press for the games next goal but it wasn"t until 2:22 left in the period when Matt Albertazzi came out to play the puck and put it right on Jay Zanleoni"s stick, who then fired it in the empty net to put the Jacks up 2-0 going into the second. The second period was much like the first as both teams had plenty of chances but nothing was getting by the goaltenders. With the Jacks up 2-0 half way through the second period Ramunto"s took two penalties and was able to kill off the 5-3 to keep them in the game still. The Jacks took a penalty late in the period with 2:12 left on the clock; during that power play Ramunto"s had the puck in the Jacks end and couldn"t get anything past Ryan Libby as he was a brick wall in net tonight. As the penalty expired the Jacks Jay Zanleoni picked up the puck and was aware that the penalty was over, he then made a full ice pass to hit Jordan McGee on the far blue line as he had come on to the ice after Jake Robinson had served his penalty. McGee caught the pass and skated in on a breakaway as Ramunto"s defense wasn"t paying attention to the time on the power play. McGee skated in with time about to expire and scored high glove side with just three seconds left on the clock. This play would prove to take all the steam out of Ramunto"s sails heading into the third period. In the third period the Jacks came out buzzing and at the 8:05 mark Jordan McGee got his third goal of the night put the Jacks up 4-0. About a minute later the Jacks were able to add another goal this time from Jay Zanleoni who was set up by line mate Gary Laperle to put them up 5-0. Although the Jacks seemed to be in charge on the scoreboard Ramunto"s didn"t give up and kept firing shots from every angle on Libby. At 4:14 Ramunto"s broke the shut out on a Tyler White goal. The Jacks were able to add two more goals (one from Gary Laperle and the other from Colby LaPerle) in the remaining four minutes as they cruised to a 7-1 win.
