Ramunto's is the number one team in the league with two wins in a row. The last win was a big come from behind win to give them even more confidence going forward. Ramuntos has been led by Mathew Littler on offense and getting solid goaltending from Matt Albertazzi. The Gamblers are coming off a good team win last week beating the Whalers 5-3 as they had a four goal third period. The Gamblers have many new faces that are starting to fit as the team continues to gel together. This game will be close in score as each team will have an answer when the other scores. The Gamblers will win this one late 4-2 ending Ramutos 2 game winning streak.

Ramuntos comes into this game the hottest team in the league with a 2-0 record, while the Gamblers are looking to find their identity as they have some new faces on the team with a 1-1 record. The game started out with both teams getting scoring chances but neither team finding the back of the net. The lone goal of the first period came at 9:57 in the period, Terence Moran who won the faceoff in the offensive end, walked around the center and the defense, then beating Ryan Van Schoick 5 hole. The period ended with both goalies coming up big as Van Schoick had 13 saves in the first period and Tazzi had 15. The second period started with the Gamblers picking up the tempo and looking to tie the score. The Gamblers finally broke through at 12:18 of the second when Zach Aher dug the puck out of the corner and hit Dan Ammel in the slot who put the puck past Tazzi. Ramuntos answered back just a minute and half later when Justin Lawrence scored on a three on one after the Gamblers defense tried to pinch costing them a goal. Just a minute after going up 2-1 Ramuntos strikes again this time from Dan Charette who let a blast go from the point beating Van Schoick who was screened. Ramuntos started to take over the play as the Gamblers were shorthanded tonight without Matty Marrazzo and Josie Fisher. As the period winds down matching roughing penalties were called on each team as they are both looking to get the next goal, this sets the tone for the third that it is going to be a dog fight. The third period starts with both teams coming out hard looking for the next goal, if the Gamblers get the next one they are back in the game and if Ramunto\"s scores they will have a commanding lead. The Gamblers were able to capitalize first when Dan Ammel scores his second of the night at 13:34. Ammel received a nice pass from Jason Young to send him in one on one and letting a shot go through the defense to beat Tazzi on the ice five-hole. Ramunto\"s doesn\"t let up and keeps the pressure on the Gamblers as they were able to get the games next goal at 9:01 from Terence Moran as he put the puck past Van Schoick after he made the initial save on a shot from Jason Mikula. The Gamblers now down 4-2 didn\"t give up as they got within a goal when Topo LaCroix put the puck past Tazzi with 5:08 left to play. With the score 4-3 both teams were pushing for that next goal but neither team could get momentum going on there side as six penalties were called in the final five minutes of the game to keep it from getting too chippy. The game ended with neither team scoring again and Ramunto\"s improving to 3-0 with the win.
