The Gamblers should win this one, but the Whalers will have the most fun post-game. Even with a short bench the Whalers have been dangerous, so we'll have to see how they do battling the top line in the UVHL. If they match the MMA line then they have a chance, but only a chance. The Gamblers have lost 2 in a row and almost came back late against the Brewers last week, and the Whalers pushed the Nords into OT and then killed three 30 packs in the locker room after the game! Okay, maybe that is an overstatement...or is it? Take the Gamblers 6-3 in this one, and we'll see you at Murphy's after the game, eh!

Another interesting game for the top seeded Gamblers as they looked a bit lackluster in their regular season finale. The Whalers had some intensity from their newly built "Diaper Line" of youngsters Cody "Mr. Hartford" Vose, Liam "The Shit Disturber" Oliver & Sammy "Sugar & Spice" Bailey. The average age of the line is 6 years old, but provided the much needed energy and offense that the Whalers have been lacking all season. Both netminders played well with Kenny "The Silver Fox" Lallier turning away 28 shots & J-Rock "The Dirty Condom" Condor turning away 29 of his own. Bailey & Vose were electric with 5 points, but weren't enough to combat the top line of the Gamblers. Matty "The Milkman" Marrazzo DELIVERED again with 2 goals & an assist & Meyer & Ammel with 2 points apiece. There will be more after McDermott finishes his 40 gallon barrel of buffalo wings.
