Tuck Looks Through Nordiques to Finals
| ODDS: | Tuck By 4 Goals |
| OVER/UNDER: | 10 Goals |
I wouldn't quite call this a great matchup of the #2 and #3 seeds. The #2 seeded Tuckies went 12-4-0 this season and the #3 seeded Nordiques struggled all season and ended up 6-11-0.
In four contests this season, the Tuckies have won four by a combined score of 29-9...it's been ugly. With the exception of a 5-4 win on January 21st, Tuck has handily blown out the Nordiques 9-0, 8-2 and 7-3.
The Nordiques were blown out 8-2 last week by the 3-14-0 Dead River Rats...that's the #5 seeded Dead River team that blew them out. The Nordiques don't stand a chance in this one.
The only saving grace for the Nordiques is the rumor that Tuck's Brandon "The Harry One" Harrington is out of town. In 3 games against the Nordiques this season, Harrington has registered 6 goals and 2 assists. He is a Nordique killer. Oh wait, Jed "Old" McDonald has registered 4 goals and 4 assists in 4 games against the Nords, so there's also that guy who eats them alive.
If the Nordiques can get Jordan "McBreakaway" McGee going, they have a chance. When McGee is on, he not only has the keys to the Nordiques machine, but also drives their offense...usually alone, with no navigator or even someone to pump the gas for him. McGee registerd 4 goals against Tuck this year, all 4 in that one really close 5-4 loss.
Tuck should walk away with the win, maybe not early, but they are too deep and their legs too young for the Old Nords. 7-3 Win.
