Gamblers Look To Bounce Back Against Nordiques
| ODDS: | Gamblers By 2 |
| OVER/UNDER: | 8 Goals |
Last week the Gamblers experienced their lowest point since re-branding the team in 2009 with a 7-0 loss to the high powered Tuckies. In the meantime they gave up first place to Tuck. It was a very frustrating loss for the usually high-powered Gamblers offense and the frustration came out in an ugly incident late in the game that saw a player from each team tossed for fighting.
The Nordiques are coming off a BYE week that was preceeded by their best game of the season, a 5-4 shootout loss to those same Tuckies. Well, maybe not the same Tuckies as they were a little banged up from a long weekend in Montreal where they played some hockey and drank like teenagers again, so the result may have been a little bit skewed due to some sloppy hockey by Tuck. Nevertheless, the Nordiques put in their best showing to date.
This one should be interesting. The Gamblers beat up the Nordiques 6-1 back in mid-November in their only meeting this season where if it weren't for the 38 saves by their goaltender, Johnny "Temper Tantrum" Turner, the result could have been much worse.
Looking at the game sheets for the two games against the Tuckies, you would assume the Nordiques would win by a score of 6-0. That ain't gonna happen. Gamblers will bounce back, winning 5-3.
Currently, the Game Recap has not been completed.
