Cardigan @ Dead River
| ODDS: | Cardigan by 5 Goals |
| OVER/UNDER: | 9 Goals |
Five weeks ago, a Sinclair-led Cardigan team flattened Dead River 10-3. That was then...this is now. Cardigan has lost Sinclair for at least another month and Dead River has added about 30 young guys to their roster.
Is Dead River good...no, not yet, but they have the tools to get there. They don't have a clear cut leader, someone who will lead them offensively and won't have a problem chewing out guys who won't play a system.
Cardigan has been lead by Owen "Carpe Diem" Carpino as he's torn apart UVHL defenses with 15 goals in his first six games of his UVHL career. He was a one man show last week as he brought his team back from a 6-1 death sentence to an 8-7 loss to a good Whalers team.
Dead River could make this one interesting. They played a Harrington-less Tuck team to a 5-1 loss and held them to a one goal lead through 2 periods.
That being said, there's still a ton of work to do on the Dead River bench. They may make it close for period or two, but Cardigan will prevail...7-2.
Currently, the Game Recap has not been completed.
