The Brewers played a good game last week against the Nords, but lost it in the 3rd period. If they play the same way and don't get tired they could have a chance to keep it close against the Gamblers. But who are we kidding here? Does anyone really think the Gamblers are gonna lose tonight? Methinks not. The league returns to Campion Rink to finish the season there, and the games are all 30 minutes later. Tuck has to forfeit again this week due to their Spring Break, so feel free to stay for the last game and scrimmage against, or with, Dead River. Bring a light and a dark - you know the drill! I\'m not all that sorry to say I didn\'t watch a minute of this game. I was too busy \"free grazing\" some good brew in the victor\'s locker room post-game after getting my ass kicked, and drowned my sorrows until the late scrimmage between Tuck and Dead River. So what happened? How the hell should I know? I doubt either team made a contribution to the Discussion Forum (except for JY! thanks, Buddy! its about time!) or even bothered to look at the pre-games, so you\'ll have to see the boxscore to get a picture of what happened. Do I sound bitter? I don\'t mean to... I just had more fun \"free grazing\" and lost track of time. One thing is for sure: the Gamblers took over late in the game and won it in the third period after the first two were played to a 2-2 score. Final Score: Gamblers 6, Brewers 2 Final Tally: Will Meyer led the Gamblers with 1G, 3A, and the only other multiple point getter as per the scoresheet was Lebanon High newcomer Luke Ceplikas with 1G, 1A. Brian Smith and Chris Dubin had 1G, 1A each for the Brew Crew. Final Analysis: The Gamblers are definitely heavy Whalen Cup favorites, but just like last year I wouldn\'t count out the Brewers who played playoff hockey en route to their first UVHL championship. Nobody is going to beat the Gamblers if they generate less than 10 shots on goal per period and then allow 3 or more against. See you on the ice! McD
