The 2008-2009 season starts off with a bang as the newly configured Bruins turned Gamblers host the Brewers. This should be a game for the ages.
Game 2 is a "rematch" of the championship game that never happened, Tuck @ Storm Kings. Due to a disastrous scheduling conflict with Tuck's spring break, Tuck only had one roster player in the Upper Valley on game night. The game was post-poned but neither team could come to a decision on when and where the championship game would be played. WEAK. I would have played at 2am on a half frozen pond, but these clowns only wanted to share the champions and are now Co-Champions.
Game 3 has the Maple Leafs turned Whalers @ the Nordiques. This should be a good one as well. Rumor has it that the Leafs have cut some dead weight and are retooled for a breakout season.
