The Brewers / Avalanche / Blackhawks franchise has FINALLY broken through with their first championship since the indoctrination of the UVHL 5 years ago. With a solid 8-4 win over a strong Storm King's squad, the Brewers raised the cup in triumph. Powered by a 5 goal, 2 assist performance from the obvious Player of the Week, Christian Issac, the Brewers easily handled the Kingers. Isaac was OUTSTANDING in the finals and muscled his way through the entire Kinger's squad. Nick "The STick" Bayley also contribed the other 3 goals and an assist while Petey Bartline turned away 46 shots, not to mention 20 in the 2nd period to keep the Storm Kings at bay.

The Kingers were missing a couple of crucial cogs in the Storm Kings machine, with "Mean" Dean Cashman attending to some personal business and defensive stud, Matty "The Milkman" Marrazzo out on some milk deliveries & Tommy "Guns" Scull out with an injured vagina.....oh and foot. Despite missing some crucial sticks, the Storm Kings were able to outshoot the Brewers drastically by a margin of 50-33.

Congratulations Brewers, you deserve to hoist the cup, filled with the finest lager in the northeast!!!!
