After another short offseason due to a third consecutive playoff / championship run, the Tuckies looked a little bit off last week taking on the revamped Whalers squad where they lost 3-1.  Their lives don't get much easier tonight as they take on a tough Lumberjacks squad lead by 2018-2019 scoring champion Jordy "McBreakaway" McGee.  McGee's 22points lead all skaters last year and teammate Alex Brands was 4th in the league with 19pts.  

Tuck's own Andrew Cox, now in his 6th year of a 2 year business school degree was the top point producer on a very talented Tuck squad last year, as he put up 17 points in 8 games and keeps gettiing better with age.  

Tuck will be riding a new goaltender into the 2019-2020 season as Steve Hruby....no relation to Kelly Hrudy will try to keep as many of those black rubber things from entering his cage as possible.  The Lumberjacks netminder Ryan "Legendary" Libby will be missing his second straight start due to his passion as a nude male model at Tip Top Bakery.  Filling the pipes will be Tucker "The Hatchet" Garrity-Hanchet who got his nickname carving because he uses a hatchet to shave every morning.

Head 2 Head this is an easy one...Tuck has won 14 out of 22 games against the Jacks since 2014, and took 3 out of 4 matches last season.  Can the champs put in a better effort than last week?  Time will tell.

Tuck started the season with a 1-3 loss to the Whalers in week one...a Whalers team that went winless las season, and were looking for some redemption against the Lumberjacks who had to take a 0-1 forfeit to the Labatt Blues because they couldn't find enough players to field a team. It was an amazing night for the aging Lumberjack's captain Jay "Z is for Zinc" Zanleoni as he potted a trio of goals and added an assist in a solid 5-2 win over Tuck. The Tuckies came out flying in the first couple of minutes and opened the scoring on a fantastic individual
