Throw out the pre-game write-up from below, I forgot that Tuck was out of town and that a team from the CESHL will be coming down to play against the Brewers. This is an automatic win for the Brewers...1-0.
The Brewers have taken all three matches against Tuck this season by a total score of 19-10. Take into account that the middle game was a 1-0 forfeit and the margin of victory could be higher.
Tuck battled hard last week in a 7-5 barn burner loss to the Whalers, and their last loss to the Brewers was also a barn burner at 9-7. There seems to be a disregard for defense on the Tuck bench, and if they want to be competitive, they are going to have to pull their horses back into the barn and protect their goaltender.
The Brewers played one of the best defensive games in franchise history in a 3-1 loss to the Gamblers last week. Keeping that dynamic offense to only three goals when their season average was 9.5 goals scored per game coming into last week is downright miraculous. Their effort was helped by some spectacular goaltending from Greg "Red Light" Bin Feiden who was filling in for their regular goaltender.
