WOW, the Storm Kings called in sick to this one......yeah, really, they called and left a message at the rink saying that they were sick and couldn't make it. I don't know about you, but this is an EMBARRASSMENT to hockey in general. Once a proud organization, the Storm Kings have fallen to a team that just bitches incessantly and calls in sick to the late games. No heart, no desire & no love for just playing hockey, sick or not sick. In all my years of hockey, I have never called in sick to a game or even a practice for that matter.....cold, flu, genital warts, mumps, measles, hepititas-z, whatever......NEVER. And this coming from a team that has consistently complained about the late games & league being taken "too seriously". TOO SERIOUSLY? REALLY? Because the consensus is that the Storm Kings cry & moan more than anyone on the ice, throwing temper tantrums in net & in the penalty box. Kettle calling the Pot black. By default, the Whalers get the win, good for them.
