Mudleague faithful helped round out the already potent Nalette, Louzier and Heaviside combo. Bruce Hawthorn and John Gillespe added a much needed scoring punch while John Murphy strengthened the defensive core. Nallete started off the scoring with a back hand goal from Louzier early in the first period. 5:22 into the second period John Murphy joined in the rush and burried a pass from Dave Fitts to stregthen the lead to 2-0. Greg Hadley kept the game close with some solid goaltending through the second. The third period was littered with three unanswered goals by UVHL Blue. At 10:29 Heavisides capitalizied on a feed from Murphy. Lozier was great once again with a 3 point night. (1 G 2 A) made it 4-0 14 seconds later. Heaviside rounded off the scoring with his second goal. Goalie John Turner pulling double duty preserved the shutout.
