#19   Greg Marsh

Born and raised in Guelph, Ontario...(The Hockey Capital of the World, and Home of the Hat Trick, Thanks to the Guelph Biltmore MadHatters in the '50's) Most people know me as Marshy. Someone once asked me,"How do you get a shot like that?" I replied: take about 50,000 shots in your basement over the course of 20 years, and ruin countless homes' drywall AND furnaces, break a few windows, and a few ankles(not mine). and you're almost there. I grew up playing in the Guelph Minor Hockey League. I then moved on to select and a brief stint with the Junior team, ended in a bad attitude and a problem with authority. So I'm told. I played with a club in Cambridge, Ontario called the Bullies. They were a great bunch of guys. I'll get back there and play in the annual tourney in Niagara Falls. Let me tell you, Niagara is almost the Las Vegas of Canada, Second only to Montreal. I absolutey love the Nordiques though. When we play as a team, no one can beat us. We have a little bit of everything. Hopefully we can keep the core of our team together as long as possible. I also hope the skill level gets better every year. It is really close right now though. I really believe almost any team can win on any given night. All we need now is a few scouts to come out! OLD TIME HOCKEY BABY !!!
