Jay Zanleoni Wins POW for 1/17

The Lumberjack's Jay "The Zamboni" Zanleoni won player of the week for January 17th for his three point night over the Rival Blues. Zanleoni lit the goal light once and added a pair of apples in the 6-4 Win while showing exemplary leadership and having the nicest beard on the ice.

Tuck's 7-1 win saw votes split between Stefan Soucy and Luke Stickel both with 2 goals and an assist. Tuck's goaltender Brendan "Killer" Kelley was also nominated for a 16 save, 1 goal against performance over the lowly Whalers.

Zanleoni also beat out team mate Jordy "McBreakaway" McGee who had a pair of goals including the game winner. McGee may have won this week, but he was 0-20 on breakaways without a single shot.
