In the late game we have the Gamblers (3-1) hosting the Blues (3-2). The Gamblers come into tonight off a 8-6 come back win over the Jacks while the Blues are coming off a 2-0 loss to the Whalers. The Gamblers took the first game this year by the score of 4-3. Tonight will be a very similar style of game as these teams are sitting 2 (Gamblers) and 3 (Blues) in the standings. The edge goes to the Gamblers who will win this game by the score of 5-4.

In the late game we had the Gamblers hosting the Blues. The first game of the year was a good clean hard hockey game, this game was far from that. It started out with the Blues getting on the board first with a game from Tyler White at 13:10. The Gamblers would tie the game at 1-1 on a goal from Topo LaCroix. The Blues would grab the lead back on Tyler White's second goal of the night to put the Blues up 2-1 at the 4:51 mark. The period would end with the Blues up 2-1 after one.

In the second the Blues would add to their lead as Jason Rasco would put the Blues up 3-1 at the 10:21 mark. The Blues would extend their lead 4-1 on a goal from Mike Anderson at the 4:00 mark. Although the Blues were up 4-1 they would take two late penalties to give the Gamblers a 5-3 chance, they would get one goal on this chance from Ryan Bergeron make the score 4-2 heading into the 3rd. It should be noted although the Gamblers scored on the 5-3 Blues couldn't stay on out of the box as the period ended so the G-men would start the third period with another 5-3 on chance.

Although the Gamblers were on a 5 on 3, the Blues Tim McAuliffe had other things in mind as he would walk through the whole Gamblers team off the opening faceoff and score just 8 seconds into the period to give his team at 5-2 lead and deflate whatever wind was left in the Gamblers sails. As you imagined this game turned ugly as the Gamblers would take a three penalites through out the period and it wasn't until the last PP chance that TJ Moran would score the games final goal at 2:52 to give his team a 6-2 win over the Gamblers.
