In the second game of the night we had the Jacks hosting the Whalers who were looking for their first win of the season. The Whalers came out hungry as they would have 17 shots in the first period and two of those would end up in the back of the net, the first goal was a pretty PP goal from Ryan Longfield who snuck down backdoor for a onetimer into the back of the net. The second Whalers goal was from Dan Fenton at 1:47 to give the Whalers a 2-0 lead. After going up 2-0 the Jacks finally woke up and Andrew Miraldi would score 9 second later to cut the Whalers lead to 2-1 heading into the second.

In the second the Jacks woke up and turned the play around on the Whalers, the Jacks would have 20 shots in the period and 3 of them getting by the Whalers Kenny Lallier. The first goal of the period to tie the game at 2-2 was by Brian Gattie at 10:26, the next goal was by Alex Brands at 6:58 and the last goal of the period was by Tim Patten at 4:44 to give the Jacks a 4-2 lead heading into the third.

With the Jacks picking up their play in the second and the Whalers only have 8 skaters it started to show as the game progressed and especially in the third as the Jacks would go onto scoring 5 more goals. The first goal of the period was scored by Tim Patten (second of the night) at 12:35, then Gary Laperle at 8:19, followed by Jordan McGee (7:02), Gary Laperle (2nd of the night) at 4:55 and to close out the score was Evan Seely at 3:10 to allow the Jacks to cruise to a 9-2 win over the Whalers.
