In the second game of the night we have the Whalers hosting the Jacks. The Whalers are coming into this week after hard fought game with Tuck and the Jacks are coming off a 4-2 loss.  Look for the Whalers to continue to play good hockey as they are searching for their first win of the season. The Whalers will shock the league and come out of this game with a 4-3 win. 

In the second game of the night we had the Whalers hosting the Jacks. Whalers came out firing and testing Ryan Libby for the Jacks but it was the Jacks who got on the scoreboard first as Marc Gattie gave his team a 1-0 lead with 5:33 left in the period. The Jacks would add two more before the period would end as Nico and Alex Brands would notch a goal a piece to give the Jacks a 3-0 with 1:43 left in the period. The Whalers wouldn't go quietly as Dillan Pierce would make the score 3-1 at 1:15 mark in the period, the period would end with the Jacks up 3-1.

In the second period the score would remain the same until there was 4 seconds left in the period when the Jacks Nico Brands would make the score 4-1 heading into the second. The Jacks outshot the Whalers 19-12 in the second frame as the Whalers Kenny Lallier would make 18 saves in the period.

In the third period the Jacks Nico Brands would score just two minutes into the period for his third goal of the night and put the Jacks up 5-1. The Whalers would get one back on a goal from Brad Matheson at 7:44 to make the score 5-2 but that is as close as it would get as the Jacks would hit the turbo boosters and cruise on to win the game by the score of 9-2. The final 4 goals were scored by Jordan McGee for 2 and Alex Brands would also get two more to give him a hat trick as well.
