In the second game of the night we had the Gamblers hosting the Blues. The game would be back and forth as both teams looked to grab the early lead, neither team had any luck and the Gamblers got a power play chance half way through the period but they couldn't get anything past the Blues Jay Seals.  The score would remain scoreless until Spencer Zaha would put the Gamblers up 1-0 with 2:55 in the period.  The first period would end with the Gamblers leading 1-0.

In the second period the Jacks came out hungry and they started firing shots on Colin Farr who was filling in for the Gamblers as Tucker was out sick.  The Gamblers gave the Jacks a power play early in the period but again they were able to kill off the penalty and a large part thanks to Colin Farr.  The Gamblers would get another power play chance of their own but again they didn't have any luck.  The Blues would eventually get one past Colin Farr as Taylor Porrier would tie the game at 1-1 with 7:36 left in the period.  The period would end with the score tied at 1-1 and the Blues had outshot the Gamblers by 16 to 7.  The Gamblers were playing well defensively but a large part was that Colin Farr was standing on his head for them.

In the third it was more of the same, the Blues were coming full steam ahead and firing shots from every angle at Farr. Again Farr was making the saves and it was the Gamblers who would go up 2-1 on a goal from Ryan LaCroix tip in with 7:39 remaining.  The Gamblers would hold on to the lead and win the game by the score of 2-1 in hard fought game by both teams. The Gamblers were able to pull this win off as fill in goalie Colin Farr turned away 45 shots and the Gamblers played great team defense in front of him.
