In the final week of regular season play we have the Jacks hosting Tuck. The Jacks come into tonight off a forfeit win over the Whalers and Tuck comes in off a shootout loss to the Gamblers.  Both teams came ready to play because the seeding’s for the playoffs were still not locked other than first place. Tuck came out fast and hard which would pay off as Craig Switzer would opening the scoring at 10:38 mark of the period to put Tuck up 1-0.  The Jacks would push back as they would get a goal from Jay Zanleoni at the 7:09 mark in the period.  Tuck would push back but the Jacks Chris Pelkey was solid in net for the remainder of the period. The period would end with the score tied 1-1 heading into the second.

In the second Tuck came out with intense pressure on the Jacks and it wouldn't pay off until 7:30 remaining in the period when Michael Boches would put Tuck up 2-1.  The Jacks picked up their play after giving up the goal and it would pay off when Tim Patten would tie the game at 2 with 2:18 left in the period.  The Jacks would give Tuck a PP chance with a 1:32 left in the period but the second period would end with the score tied at 2-2.

In the third the Jacks would kill off the remaining time on their penalty but Tuck was able to cash in on Craig Switzer second goal of the game at 12:43 mark to put Tuck up 3-2.  The Jacks wasted no time to tie the score up as Will Olmstead would notch his first goal of the game at 11:35 to tie the score at 3.   Tuck would take a penalty about half way through the period but solid goaltending from Colin Farr would keep the Jacks off the board.  Tuck's Michael Boches would score his second goal of the game and put Tuck up 4-3 with 3:18 remaining in the game.  Tuck would hang on for the 4-3 win after some key saves from Colin Farr late in the period.  With the win Tuck finished in third place and will play the #2 seed Blues in the semifinals next week.
