In the first game of the night we have the Blues hosting the Gamblers. Both teams have locked in their playoff seeds, the Blues finished in first place and the Gamblers finished in second. The game has little meaning other then bragging rights, look for it to be a hard fought game with the edge going to the Blues winning the game 3-2.

In the first game of the night we have the Blues hosting the Gamblers. Both teams have locked in their playoff seeds, the Blues finished in first place and the Gamblers finished in second. The game started out with both teams coming out hard as anticipated. Both teams would exchange power play chances but it wouldn"t be until 1:57 left in the first that the Gamblers Ethan Gage would score the game"s first goal on the power play. The period would end with the Gamblers up 1-0 after one and out shooting the Blues 17-9.

In the second it would be another physical period and two teams would exchange power play chances again but the only goal of the period would come from the Blues Tyler White at 9:25 to tie the game at one. The Gamblers would get a one more chance late in the period but the Blues Seals wouldn"t allow another goal in the second period.

In the third period the Gamblers came out hungry and getting the go ahead goal at 9:25 from Ethan Gage his second of the night. The Gamblers Max Woods would put the Gamblers up 3-1 with a quick goal just 19 seconds later. The Gamblers would build off the two quick goals and go up 4-1 at 5:45 on a goal from Topo LaCroix. The Blues Tyler White would answer back with is second goal of the night with 4:22 left in the game but that would be as close as they would get. The Gamblers would win the game 4-2 and if both teams can make it to the finals we had a good preview of what the Whalen Cup could be like.
