In the final game of the night we have the Gamblers hosting Tuck. Both teams come into this week off blow out wins, the Gamblers won 9-2 over the Whalers and Tuck won 9-1 over the Nords. The winner of tonight's game will take over second place, this will be a battle until the final whistle but Tuck will win this one 4-3.

In the final game of the night we have the Gamblers hosting Tuck. Both teams come into this week off blow out wins, the Gamblers won 9-2 over the Whalers and Tuck won 9-1 over the Nords. In the first period of play the both teams came ready to play and it was the Gamblers who would get on the board first as Topo LaCroix would beat Tuck"s Dan Rosen at the 11:04 mark. After going up 1-0 the Gamblers would get a chance on the power play with 8:14 remaining in the period, while on the power play the Gamblers got some good opportunities but it wasn"t until 6:26 that Goose LaCroix put the Gamblers up 2-0 with his power play goal. The Gamblers and Tuck would exchange penalties but neither team could score on the power play, it was Tucks Shawn Curley that would make the score 2-1 with 2:38 left in the period. Both goalies made 15 saves on the period as they were a big reason the score wasn"t any higher.

In the second period the Gamblers picked up their play but they couldn"t get anything pass Rosen even on the one power play chance they had. Tuck had two power play chances but it wasn"t until the second power play they got late in the second period (2:44) that Tuck was able to tie the game at 2 on a power play goal from Emmanuel Vezina with 49 seconds left in the period. The second period wasn"t any different than the first as the Gamblers out shot Tuck 22-12.

In the third the play was a bit more even as the shots for the period were 15-13 in favor of the Gamblers. Tuck would have two power play chances but the Gamblers dug deep and were able to kill off both chances. Both teams had chances as the period came to an end but this game was going to a shootout to be decided, the shootout went as follows:
