In the second game of the night we had the Whalers hosting the Gamblers. The Whalers are coming into this week after being up 4-1 to Ramuntos in a game which they would eventually lose 7-4. The Gamblers come into tonight after a hard fought 7-5 win over the top seed Tuck. The Gamblers came out hungry and ready to play tonight as they fired shot after shot on JT (filling in for Kenny). Eventually the Gamblers were able to get one past JT, as Goose LaCroix put the Gamblers up 1-0 at 9:57. The Gamblers kept the pressure on but it was the Whalers who scored next when Dillan Pierce was able to tie the score up with 3:13 left in the period. JT was a brick wall tonight as the Gamblers couldn"t get another past him in the first period. JT finished the period with 18 saves and kept the score tied at one.

In the start of second period the Gamblers picked up right where they left off, peppering shots on JT. The Gamblers were able to get the lead back early in the period (13:37) as Max put the rebound home after JT couldn"t control his rebound off a Topo LaCroix shot. Again like the first, the Gamblers would keep the pressure on but the Whalers Sam Bailey tied the game with 2:59 left in the period. The Whalers goal came off great puck movement that stopped the Gamblers in their tracks and beat Ryan Van Schoick as they got him moving from side to side. The period would end with the score tied 2-2 and again JT had 14 saves to keep the Whalers in this game even though they were being outshot.

In the third period the Whalers picked up their play and started to take it to the Gamblers. JT turned away 32 shots in two periods of play. As the Whalers picked up the play and started to fire shots at RVS from every angle, the Gamblers had an answer as Max Woods got his second of the night as he beat JT from the point with 9:48 left in the game. The Whalers dug even deeper and were able to tie the score just a minute and twenty seconds later (8:21) as James Kerrigan was wide open back door to tap in the games tying goal. With the game tied and a little over eight minutes left the Whalers picked it up after tying the game, however this time it was RVS who was answering to all the shots. RVS finished the period with 16 saves and JT had 9. RVS finished the night with 33 saves and JT had an astounding 41. It should be noted the G-men had a goal called back at 5:58 in the period as Perry Bove (refereeing by himself) said the net was off.

With the score tied at 3-3 after 45 minutes of play we headed to a shootout. In the shootout the Whalers choose to go first, the shootout went as follows:
