Can Brewers End Gamblers Run To Perfection?

The Brewers will be without Garren "Teed Penalty" Poirier who is suspended one game for fighting last week. Rumor has it that they will also be without speedy antagonizer Chris "Slash" Johnson. Already riding a short bench, and now losing those two players hurts the Brewers chances of making this a competitive game.

The Gamblers have routed the Brew Crew in both meetings by a combined score of 20-2, and that score should be about the same since the Gamblers have lost Dan "The Danimal" Ammel to a broken foot for at least 6-8 weeks if not the remainder of the season. Unfortunately for the rest of the league the Gamblers are deep and can pull in a number of players to fill Ammel's shoes, maybe not as capably or with the eerily connection the MMA line has had with Ammel, but nonetheless they should still field a very competitive top line.

This one is a reffing nightmare, but without Johnson & Poirier, it may be a bit more docile.

Gamblers walk away with this one early, final score 10-1.

Utter Domination...Again...Gamblers 10, Brewers 3

Another week, another dominant win by the Gamblers. This time the G-Men throttled a very short benched Brewers squad by seven goal. The Gamblers used 5 different goal scorers, and despite loosing top line winger Dan "The Danimal" Ammel for the season were still able to generate offense.

Leading the way for the Gamblers was Willy "Mighty Mouse" Meyer who added to his league leading goal total of 32 with four goals and an assist. Yes, that is 36 goals in 14 games this season. The Gamblers also had a new rookie in the lineup, brother of Topo LaCroix, Ryan LaCroix. The two Lacroix's combined for 4 goals and 4 assists. Ryan had 3 goals and an assist and Topo had 1 goal and 3 assists.

The Brewers were without Garren "teed Penalty" Poirier(suspension), Chris "Turtle" Johnson, Brock Barton, Timmy Barret & Jason Yehle among others, but used three players from the Whalers to help them field a team tonight.

A scoreless first period by the Gamblers saw them down 1-0 after the first frame, but they then came back with a vengeance, scoring six goals in the second. Marc "The Narc" Gattie had a goal and two assists and the Boys LaCroix combined for a hat trick and three assists. Meyer had two of his four goals in the second as well and the Gamblers headed to the third period up 6-2
