The Brewers handed the #1 Gamblers their second loss in a row last week at Campion, and now face the Storm Kings, or is it the Blackhawks, or possibly the Shithawks, in the final regular season contest. The Kings defaulted, AGAIN, after declining an offer from Tuck on a make-up game with Tuck out of town on Spring Break last week. These are the two scariest offenses in the UVHL this season, and depending on who shows up for the Kings I'd still have to give the edge to the Brewers in a 5-3 battle. This will force the Nords into a must win tonight to keep second place because if the Nords lose the Brewers get second spot with a victory. The Kings can play spoiler to keep the Brew Crew in third, and that is all the glory they can hope for until playoff time. This one should be ugly, and the most disciplined team will win.

Kingers put up 8 goals on their first 16 shots.....roll to easy 10-5 win.

HOLY CRAP the Storm Kings looked AMAZING in the first two periods. Robbie "Patty Cakes" Pattison has the quickest zero to 5 mph in the NATION and toasted the Brewer's Nick "Loosey Goosey" Louras for 5 goals and an assist. Patty "Tug 'Em" Turcotte was outstanding as he was Pattison's best friend forever & the genius behind 2 or 3 of Pattison's goals.

Nickey Louras looked a bit lost in the first 2 periods as he let in 8 of the first 16 shots he faced.

All I know is that it was 10-2 when I walked into the rink and the second period wasn't even over yet. The Brewers seemed to be taking it in stride, and the Kings appeared to actually be having some FUN for the first time in months on a Tuesday night. Perhaps post-game brewskies after the early game was the motivation for the Kings to have a full line up on the ice, and perhaps hell just froze over. We will never know the true reason, but the result was a spanking of the recently red hot Brewers at the hands of the potentially most dangerous and talented UVHL squad - the enigmatic Storm Kings.
