Tuck HAMMERS Hadley

Welcome Ladies & Gentleman to week 13......I think....of the UVHL. Tonight I am broadcasting directly from the rink with live game updates!!! The Bruins were intent on turning their season around after a heartbreaking loss to the Brewers where they were up 2 to zilch after the first period. Tuck on the other hand played their WORST game in 3 years and were looking to rebound from their 7-2 loss to the leafs.

The Bruins came out flying in the first going up 1 to nothing just 58 seconds in when Jordan "The Maniac" McGee picked up the puck in front of the net and dished a quick backhand pass to Scotty "Defense?" Fraser on the back door for a quick one timer five-holio on Ryan "The Cat" Fitzgerald. Tak Mikoshiba was doing a pretty poor job of covering Fraser on the back door and basically gave him the free open shot. Tuck & Mikoshiba bounced back under 2 minutes later when Tak walked in and beat Hadley over the glove off of a pass from Brian "Flounder" Fleming. Tuck went up 2-1 when "Flounder" Fleming took a pass from Mikoshiba, bolted down the far boards and fired a back hander along the ice and just inside the far post. Hadley was down quicker than Pelletier's boyfriend on a Saturday night. Ref, Carl Hatfield announced the goal as Eight, from Thirty-Nine......and Hadley SUCKED on that one!" There was plenty of talk on the Bruins' bench after that goal, most of the conversations were rotating around bringing Johnny Chamberlain back to play net. The rest of the period was back and forth hockey as not much offense was generated. The two teams combined for a measly 12 shots on net. Other things of note were that Tuck took the only two penalties of the period, with Mikoshiba going off for a hook and Fleming out for checking. I also noticed that the Bruins made the controversial decision of putting Mark "Chubby Hubby" Weglarz on defense and that he shoots like a legless little girl . Oh and the Bruins brought back Robbie Pelletier, which is great for ANYONE except if he is falling near or on you.

AFTER THE FIRST PERIOD: Bruins1, Tuck 2
SHOTS: Bruins 4, Tuck 5

The Tuckeroonies came out flying in the first period, despite being shorthanded for the first 42 seconds, and grabbed a two goal lead when Trevor "Mosquito" Martin beat Hadley "Cornholio" Hadley with a quick shot to his gaping 5-hole. The Bruins Mark Weglarz helped put Tuck up by 3 at the 10:27 mark when A. Lindeman got his first goal of the season by shooting the puck from the far corner, off of "Chubby Hubbies" skate and 5-HOLIO on the giant pile of feces in net for the Bruins. "CHAMBO! CHAMBO! CHAMBO!" could be heard from stands. With 7:19 remaining and the Bruins shorthanded with Pelletier in the box, Michelle "Baywatch" Labbe put the Tucksters up by 4 on a perfectcrossice pass from Martin to the low slot. Labbe took her time realized that Hadley was still down from the first goal and put it up over his very slow and weak glove.

Tuck tacked on another one with 2 men in the box when Lindeman got his 2nd of the night by chipping in a rebound off of "Baywatch" Labbe's shot with 4:54 left in the period. Scotty Fraser helped out Tuck by pinching and getting beat by Hanbury at the red line, leaving a 3 on 1 for his defensive partner who made the right play by giving Hanbury the open shot. Hadley was STILL down from the first goal and let Hanbury RIP a wrister up under the cross bar for the 6th goal of the period for Tuck. Notables for the 2nd period would be that Michelle "LaBABE" Labbe got her first penalty of her UVHL career for a "little" hook. Michelle said "I wish I would have at least hit him for my first penalty."

END OF THE SECOND: Bruins 1, Tuck 7
SHOTS: Bruins 7, Tuck 18

The third period went like this, Tuck had possession shot the puck, the Bruins coughed it up, Tuck took a shot, the Bruins coughed it up, Tuck took a shot. Ten with 6:03 remaining, Tuck's Flemming took a another checking penalty. Then with 1:52 remaining Mark Weglarz tried passing the puck back to his goaltender Greg Hadley....right through his legs, for Lindeman's 3rd goal of the year, second off of Weglarz. Just to ad a little more insult to injury, Michelle Labbe chipped in a rebound off of a wicked Petey Hanbury shot from the point.
