Lallier stops 44 in route to a 4-2 LOSS to the Brewers & 8th straight loss.

The Maple Leafs hosted the Brew Crew for the late game in week 10 in hopes of turning their dismal 1-7-1 season around. The Brewers were also looking to turn their season around after losing their previous 4 games after starting the season 4-0-1. Missing perennial all-star, Sean "The GOON" McCabe for throwing a punch at Tuck's Pace Ralli in week 9, the Brewers brought back defensive stalwart Joe "Lickity Split" Lyle and brought on board newbie David "Mulligan" Mullins.

The Leafs were riding a short bench for the 2nd week in a row and missing defensemen Colin "The Virgin" Vernon & Dave "BOOTS" Bouthillier as well as forwards Johnny "The shorter, uglier version of Casavant" Thomas, Josh "Spicoli" Hardy, Todd "Backache" Nallette and them Gattie Bros. Unfortunately, for the Leafs, Dave "Slow as Molasses" Fitts showed his ugly mug.

The first period started off with the Brewers peppering Kenny Lallier before Nick "Lost a step" Bayley capped off a Brewer 3 on 1, as he beat Kenny "SUPERSTAR" Lallier off of a pass from is best bud, Christian "Dr. Death" Isaac. The goal came with 11:18 remaining. One of my high school coaches always told me that it only takes 7 seconds to score a goal from the center face off.......which I thought was BULLSHIT, until I saw it done tonight. Joey "The Mute Serial Killer" Hayes won the face off forward, walked through the centerman and into the Brewers zone before somehow finding a really short Sean "Mighty Mouse" Casavant all alone in the slot. Casavant closed his eyes, said 5 Hail Marys and blindly fired the puck on Petey "The Muppet" Bartline. Bartline flinched like it was going upstairs, but obviously didn't read the scouting report on "The Muppet" which clearly states that he can't lift the puck off the ice. The rest of the first period was a wash, with not penalties, a couple of scoring chances and that's about it.

END OF THE FIRST: Maple Leafs 1, Brewers 1
SHOTS: Maple Leafs: A paltry 6, Brewers: 12

The second period was just a bunch of guys skating around taking shots. The only high point was that Kenny "SUPERSTAR" Lallier turned away 17 shots before "Dr. Death" Isaac beat him with a backhander, lower left, off of Bayley's pass.

END OF THE SECOND: Maple Leafs 1, Brewers 2
SHOTS: Maple Leafs 16, Brewers 29

The 3rd period was led off by the first penalty of the game from the Brewers Brent Adams when he took a hooking call just 67 seconds in, setting up a Leafs power play goal. Dougie "Light Weight" Heavisides took advantage of the man advantage to tie up the game as he made a nice move in the low slot and beat Barf-line with a wicked backhander low blocker side, tying the game at 2 apiece. That was basically the game for the Maple Leafs, as the Brewers turned up the heat for the final 10 minutes of the game and making a special ale called "Little Blue Berry Domination Ale". Nicholas "Dr. McSelfish" Bayley got his 2nd of the game from his best bud, Isaac, and beating Kenny "La MVP" Lallier mid-glove. The most insecure man in the UVHL, Chris "Did you see my goal tonight....yeah, I learned that move when I played at the University of Maine" Johnson, put the night cap on the Brewers solid game on a sugary sweet pass from Danny "Back Spasm" Charette. Johnson one-timed a backhander past Lallier into the upper left corner with 5:17 remaining in the game.

The rest of the period mainly encapsulated the Leafs running around like chickens with their heads cutoff, trying to get back into the game. Their intensity was killed by two penalties from Davey "Hamburger Heaven" Fitts & Sean "Dwarfism is a disability & Handicap" Casavant.

END OF REGULATION: Maple Leafs 2, Brewers 4
SHOTS: Maple Leafs 21, Brewers 44.
