Lallier stops 49 shots for the Leafs, but loses 6-3 to Tuck.

The 5-1 Tuck Water Oxen hosted the 1-4-1 Maple Leafs on this glorious pre-Turkey day event. Tuck came in the favorite by 4 goals with an over / under of 10.5 goals. Tuck came out flying, dominating the first 6 minutes of play and limiting the Leafs to ZERO shots in the first 6 minutes. Josh "Spicoli" Hardy capitalized on a Tuck turnover to Joey "The Mute" Hayes. Hayes quickly moved the puck up to Hardy with 5:43 remaining in the first as he beat Ryan "Spider Monkey" Fitzgerald blocker side along the ice. This was only the Leafs 2nd shot of the game. Tuck continued to carry the play outshooting the Leafs 13-7 in the period. End of the first period, 1-0 Leafs.

Tuck came out moving and shaking in the second, like a fat chick doing aerobics....or McDermott demolishing some corn on the cob like a jack hammer. Total domination as they peppered Kenny "My Defense SUCKS" Lallier with 18 shots. Trevor Martin tied the game at 1 apiece just 74 seconds in, as he fired a shot off of Lallier's stick through a screen. Scotty "Game Changer" Turco capitalized at the 9:54 mark as he was nonchalantly cherry picking and received a great pass from Takahi Mikoshiba. Turco broke in all alone and beat Kenny on a backhand to forehand deke, tucking it in past the outstretched blocker.

The Leafs tied up the game at 2, with 5:03 remaining when Turco picked up a loose puck in his own zone, cut back to avoid a defender and got LAID OUT BY his own team mate, Jamie Greenthal. Brian "the other Gattie" Gattie, picked up the loose puck and fed Dougie "Junk in the trunk" Heavisides. Heavy beat Fitzgerald high and hard glove side. Tuck went up 3-2 on a goal by Martin, but I can't read the 2nd grader writing that John "D Student" Chamberlain wrote for the goal details. But here is the best I can do to decipher his details "Honbury from psint. Save to Labbabbe. Save. Lper not. Goal." I think it had to do with Hanbury, Labbe & some doughnuts.

With 3:21 remaining in the 2nd, Scotty Turco drew his 4th penalty of the game as Hayes got his 3rd penalty for Tripping him and then Gattie took his first for unsportsmanlike conduct. With 2 men in the box, Tuck hammered Lallier with shot after shot before Michelle "La Babe" hammered in the rebound garbage goal. Ryan McGovern put Tuck up 5-2 with just over a minute remaining as he took a NASTY pass from Turks and burried it 5-Holio on the Frenchman. End of the second period, 5-2 Tuck. Shots Tuck 31, Leafs 13.

The 3rd period was all Tuck & Kenny Lalliier again. Tuck showed masterful puck movement, positioning & poise as they limited the Leafs to only 5 shots and tallied another 18. Johnny "The Toe Dragging Midget" Thomas brought the Leafs back within 2 with 5:31 remaining as he beat a Tuckian defender to a loose puck and broke in all alone beating Fitzgerald 5-Holio on some kind of weird, weak, change-up of a flip-type style kind-of sissy shot. Trevor Martin put the game out of reach with just under 3 minutes remaining as he put a nice one timer from Pace Ralli through the gaping 5-hole of Lallier.

End of regulation......6-3 Tuck. Shots: Tuck 49, Leafs 18
