Kings win fourth in a row with Halloween victory over Leafs.

The Storm Kings hit the Maple Leafs with a lot of offense. The Kings forwards pounded the Leafs ā€œDā€ and netminder Kenny Lallier with a four goal first period. John Murphy stuck first with a nice finish on a passing play from Scott Turco and Dean Cashman at 10:03. Less than 2:00 later Turco buried an unassited gem as he toe-dragged a defensmen and beat Lallier with a hard stick side shot at 8:44. Leaf attacker Todd Nalette, roofed a wrister over the outstretched glove of King goalie Dan French at 8:17. It looked as the game would be close and even until Art Stout scored from Singe Arnold and Tom Scull at 7:20 and Turco scored a goal almost identical to his first. He gained the slot and ripped a stickside snapper at 5:14. The second period was a dead heat as both teams tallied three goals. The Kings gained a lead of 6-1 Stout scored his second and Sean Coakley scored his first, unassited at 10:23. The Leafs were running around in their own zone chasing the Kings. An errant puck reached the stick of Joe Hayes who cashed in at 9:34. Leaf defenseman Ed Sheehan scored a nice goal from Kyle Manny with only 2:02 left in the second. The Leafs clawed back into the game climbing to only two goals down. With less than 2 minutes remaining in the second, Dean Cashman gained the zone and feathered a great flip pass from tape-to-tape to Adam Hogg who tapped into an empty net at 1:34. The Leafs grabbed the equalizer at 1:19 as Kevin Lozier scored from Hayes and Nalette.
The third period was all Kings Singe Arnold scored from Coakley at 14:13 and Art Stout collected his first UVHL hattrick and finished off the scoring in the game at 1:17 with a short-handed, unassisted gem.
