Anyone else rusty after the holidays?

I felt like a beginner this morning at the 7:30AM Campion skate today! The first 3 shifts were like I hadn't skated at all this season. Luckily, the motor programs are well ingrained and it didn't take too long, but the cobwebs were still coming out late in the skate. I have a feeling the games tonight will be off to a somewhat slow start before the gravy, cheese, and desserts are fully out of our systems. Regardless, I LOVE HOCKEY! YAAAAH!

It's a wonderful thing!

I felt better last night than I have all season. I think the outdoor sessions really help with both conditioning and puck work.

To your point, rust actually didn't seem to have much effect last night. I thought the Whalers-Nords game was one of the better battles we've had in the league in awhile. Both teams looked pretty strong at both ends.
