Parky's Beer Fund

I noticed that Parky nominated himself for the Player of the Week poll. This must be his way of telling us that he doesn't have enough money for beer. I'm hoping to try to set up a fund to help raise money for him. I'm requesting that each player chip in somewhere between a dime and a quarter, this should be enough to cover a case if we get enough people to donate. It also might be a nice gesture if someone offered to buy him a postgame beer at Bentley's at some point. Obviously, this would be a charitable organization, so all donations would be tax deductible.

Here's where I need the league's help though: I need a good name for this charity, so, for that, I leave the floor open to, what I expect to be, an interesting discussion.

I'm also printing up some "VOTE FOR KELLY!" T-Shirts that I'll be selling or $100 apiece in a booth outside of Union Arena. They are pretty sweet, and say on the back "Kelly is a boys name, motherfucker!!!" They come in your standard Nordique Puke Green & a nice pink for the ladies....and you Stally!

You know you're getting older when you still think a T-shirt fundraiser would be effective. The trendy thing these days are those goofy little wristbands that Lance Armstrong made popular. Lance's "Live Strong" campaign was designed to increase awareness about testicular cancer, so this would be a perfect fundraiser for this campaign: Armstrong's message was that even if you only have one nut, you can still be a man; your message is that even if your name sounds like the bronze medalist in the women's halfpipe (Kelly Clark), you can still be a man.

As far as what to write on the wristbands, this is your chance to leverage your likeness to Sidney Crosby, not only in your on-ice prowess and appearance, but also in that his name, coincidentally, could go either way: "Sidney and Kelly: Dudes Dominating Dudes."

It's intended to mean two guys with girl's names (Sidney and Kelly) are actually dudes that dominate their respective dude's ice hockey leagues. You need to realize that these wristbands are small and there's not enough space to say all that, so I had to cut it down to "Dudes Dominating Dudes." ...Not sure, where you got the whole gay thing from, is there something you wanted to share with us? Haha.

giving a family a chance guys. Every weekend Kelly and his family set up a game of 3-Card Monte in the Subway in Boston. His kids are taught to distract the "customers" with moans of hunger, and rubbing their empty bellies, while Alana, dressed in a full rubber catsuit does her best to rub up against unsuspecting folks, only to snatch a wallet or pocketbook without them any the wiser. This is a truly sad story of an American Dream gone terribly wrong. Won't you help a struggling family get back the self-respect they have obviously been robbed of? Speaking of being robbed, pick the middle card, we all know it's the wrong one, but play along. It'll go a long way to making at least one child's life better. Thank you, SUCKAAAAAAAA
