Gamblers Look To Go 18-0-0
The Gamblers have continued to run the table all season long. They have a gaudy 120 goal differential as they've scored 155 Goals and only allowed 35. They are the epitome of a dominant team.
Tuck's inconsistency has them sitting at 5-11-1 and a -42 goal differential. They've found some life from leading scorer Brandon Harrington and linemate Josh Cherney, but it just won't be enough to keep this one close. The Gamblers defense is too good, their puck protection and time of possession is unmatched and their goaltender does the rest...on, and that disgusting offense.
Gamblers erupt late behind a trio of goals from Willy Meyer, who scores 99% of his goals when the other team has exhausted themselves by the third period, winning 8-1
Gamblers One Game Closer To Perfection With 7-3 Win Over Tuck
The Gamblers have improved to an impressive 18-0-0 with another solid win, this time at the hands of Tuck. Powered by a pair of goals and assist from both Topo LaCroix & Willy Meyer and a solid 10 save performance from Jeremy Seidling.
"They played us tough" said Meyer after the game. Tuck battled back from a 5-1 deficit in the third period to cut the lead to two goals, only to take a bad penalty and allow a power play goal late in the game and kill their momentum.
The top line for the Gamblers were dominant again, all three scoring at least a goal and combining for 7 points on the night.
Tuck's Brandon Harrington was the offensive catalyst yet again for Tuck, netting his 23rd and 24th goals of the season, but his individual efforts weren't quite enough.
The Gambler's Topo LaCroix took home the first star for a pair of early goals(also his 23rd & 24th) goals of the season. Meyer took the second star for his 44th & 45th goals and Harrington the third star.
Despite giving up 7 goals, Tuck's Benny "The Tower of Power" Dower was excellent. He turned away 27 shots and had to stand on his head to keep the game in reach for his team.
