Gamblers Look to Extend Historic Blowout Streak
The Gamblers have been setting the UVHL on fire, destroying every shitty hockey team that happens to stumble in front of them instead of staying home and quivering under their sheets until their game would officially be over.
Of course they are led by their top line of Marrazzo, Meyer & Ammel who have already put up a combined FIFTY FUCKING POINTS IN THREE FUCKING GAMES...ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?!? Bottom line is that they have been dominant, and their opponents have taken the time to put together a game plan to face them.
The Brewers have also had a solid start to the season behind a pair of wins to start the season, and a well played game where they turned a 3-0 deficit into a 4-3 shootout loss to the Nordiques. The Brew Crew have historically played the Gamblers tough, and their rough style of play that teeters on the edge of legality is not conducive to the Gambler's egos.
Regardless, the G-Men will roll...probably in the 3rd, but this should be a semi-blowout, and the G-Men will be kept to under 10 goals for the first time this season....Gamblers win 8-3.
Gamblers Continue Dominance Over UVHL
The Gamblers are crazy good...that is well known as they have scored double digits in every game so far this season, and have a ridiculous 33 Goal Differential in 4 games. Tonight they thrashed a short-benched Brewers squad, unloading six goals in the third period for a 12-1 win.
"Next time we play the Gamblers, we're just going to take the F*CKING forfeit" said one frustrated Brewers player who was less than thrilled about the outcome of the game. The Brewers style of ground & pound is normally suited well for a battle against the Gamblers, but tonight was a bit different.
Matty "The Milk Man" Marrazzo was outstanding again scoring his 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th & 13th goals of the season, combine that with two assists and two PIMs and you have a hell of a night. His 26 points in 4 games has got to be a UVHL record, and nobody seems to have an answer for the lanky power forward. His line-mate Willy "Mighty Mouse" Meyer had another solid night with his 14th & 15th goals of the season and 3 helpers.
In net for the Gamblers was Jeremy "The Seed" Seidling, who didn't need to be great, but made some great saves when called upon. Seidling stopped 21 of 22 shots en route to the win. The only one that snuck by him came from Keith "Large Marge" Lazarczyk who scored his 4th of the season 5:02 into the game.
The Brewers took 7 penalties and suckered the Gamblers into 4 themselves, but two early PowerPlay goals from the G-Men as really all they needed. Also having a nice night for the Gamblers was Allison "Hook" Malcolm with a pair of nice goals and an assist, Dan "Danimal" Ammel with a trio of assists and most importantly Jason "Never a Wrister" Young with a goal and two helpers.
Don't forget to vote for the Long Trail Player of the Week! A case of beer is on the line, eh!
